Employment services for students
Duke University’s academic and career counseling offices offer advising, instructing and assisting in the career action plan creation, assist with resumes, essays, cover letters and applications. They help students explore opportunities and careers, find jobs, define their career fit and path and find internships, fellowships or partnerships. Academic counseling offices offer mentoring and assistance, peer tutoring and study groups.

Yellow Ribbon Program
Yellow Ribbon Program is a voluntary program offering veterans and eligible beneficiaries additional institutional aid to cover the costs of tuitions and fees at the institutions participating in the program. The Yellow Ribbon Program is a supplementary program to the Post 9/11 GI Bill coverage of in-state tuition and fees. The Department of Veterans Affairs matches the institutional aid provided beyond the in-state tuition and fees, but to certain limit each year.
